What started out
as a hobby years ago has now become a full-time business and
passion of Jennifer's. She has always been an avid
horse woman who's passion in life is being around horses or
participating in anything equine related. Her
obsession and love of horses started early in life as many
true horse lovers can also attest to.
Her main focus is
on Arabians and Haflingers but appreciates the beauty that can be found in
every breed. She personally owns several breeds, but
her heart has always been with the Arabian and Haflinger. The
Arabians majestic presence, sheer intelligence and undying
loyality has always marveled her while the Haflingers
willingness to learn, kind demeanor and their
trustworthyness have captured her heart.
High Ridge Tack
was founded out of the love of horses. Jennifer is has
been known to dabble in art and has always had a creative
side of her just awaiting to be released. She found
that venue through her show halters. What started as a
simple restoration of a show halter soon became a profitable
business realization. Her work and creations can be
seen in show rings throughout the horse world (literally)
and are appearing in top Arabian and miniature horse
magazines. Her halters can also be found in local and
international tack shops.
Along with her
husband, Jennifer owns and manages Golden View Farm which is
the founding branch of High Ridge Tack. With her
passion for horses, it seemed fitting to combine her love
with her work. High Ridge Tack was born! High
Ridge Tack now offers not only show halters, but many other
equine essentials.
High Ridge Tack is located
on Golden View Farm in beautiful northern rural Minnesota. Golden
View Farm covers
approx. 80 acres of lush green pastures and is home to our
family, miniature horses, large horses, and our beef cattle
herd. They also offer year
round boarding facilities including safely fenced pastures, automatic livestock waterers, indoor box stalls in a new lighted barn,
large outdoor riding arena, round pen area, mulitple
paddocks, lots of
trails and endless miles of country roads for riding.
