Directions for Measuring Your Horse...

Measuring for Head Length
Determine the points on the side of the face where you want the corner rings to set. Measure from one point to the other by going up the side of the head and over the bridle path and back down the other side of the head. This is your head length.

Measuring for Noseband Length
Determine the point on the side of the face where you want the TOP of the corner ring to set. Measure from this point across the top of the nose to the same point on the other side of the face. This is the noseband measurement.

Measuring for Breast Collar
Determine the point at the center of the horse's chest at which you would like your breast collar to rest. Measure from this point, up over the shoulder to the wither point and continuing back down the other shoulder to meet your beginning point in the center of the horse's chest. This is the breast collar measurement. Hint: We recommend using a seamstress tape and allow the tape to lie where you would like the breast collar to lay naturally.
